SAVE ME FROM MYSELF!

PRE-SCRIPT:I am new to the blogger world and have NO IDEA what I am doing! As they say, everybody has to start somewhere...So here it goes.

The urge to "Make and Create" (MAC) is always nagging at me. From morning until night I find melf just needing to get away and make something, usually a mess. And I can make a mess! Having given up my working Art Studio, I have been creating in what is now my "At Home Studio" or My Private Spot over the garage. A place where I can MAC or just PAC-plan to create!

I have always loved exploring anything to do with designing, making or creating! My family thinks I have a problem I'm sure, but I never really slow down long enough to really think about that. Not meaning my family of course, I adore my precious husband, my three teenagers, my dog Frances and our new fish George. I will eventually have a place on this blog dedicated to them...They will LOVE that, I'm sure!

HERE'S WHAT I LOVE TO DO...
SPEND TIME WITH THE CREW: My husband and three teenagers

AND THEN WHEN I HAVE TIME FOR MYSELF I LIKE TO...
DRAW: sketch...anywhere and everywhere. I have sketchbooks tucked all over the place!
PAINT: canvases, walls, furniture and sometimes faces (really). I lug these supplies around everywhere. It drives my husband and the airport security people crazy!
FAUX-FINISH: anything that will stay still like lamps, ironwork, picture frames, candlesticks, floors, walls, furniture, garden statutes...
DESIGN JEWELRY: earrings, necklaces, bracelets etc. This is my latest craze. Could it be that I love all those beautiful gems and shiny silver!
PHOTOGRAPHY: take pictures of anything, kids (mine and others), friends, pets, sporting events, scenery, landscapes, seascapes and sunsets!
PHOTO BOOKS: These are fun to do and make great gifts!
SCRAPBOOKS: make albums for the kids, or mostly just collect the stuff to make albums for the kids. I have a lot of boxes waiting for a little of my attention. I have been thinking about learning Digital Scrapbooking, I have been on a few of these websites lately, but what would I do with all my stuff?
COLLAGE: with paint, gels, paper and photographs, etc...
DECORATE: or re-decorate anything that is not nailed down or that might need a little fluffing!
ART SHOWS: "Peddle My Wears" (as my mom use to say) out and about under my Big White Tent
ANTIQUE: Buy and Sell for my local "booth" at the "mall". I think the thrill in in the hunt and the fact that I need a place to sell all the things that I have to have (HTH) that I really don't HTH!
COLLECTING: Paintings, Antiques: Quill Boxes, Stafforshire, Transferware, Religious Relics; Seashells etc...
GARDENING: Purchasing beautiful (HTH) flowering plants and grasses!
BEACH: LOVE going to the beach to Relax and Create (RAC)!
TRAVEL: Thank God I am married to a "Traveling Man"
BECAUSE... I NEED A VACATION...FROM MYSELF!

I do think that through my rambling I may have just outlined my format for my blog! I'll be back soon, unless of course ... I get distracted! Did I mention I am very ADHA? Do Ya Think?
